Ginger adds, however, that when her daughter wakes in the morning she often has diarrhea. Her daughter wonders if it’s the extra EFA capsules she has added to her protocol. She is now taking 12 capsules per day. Dr. Glidden replies that whenever a new symptom like that surfaces, it is a good idea to list everything you have changed recently in your diet and supplements. In Ginger’s daughter’s case the cause of the diarrhea could well be the extra EFA capsules.
