00:44 – Dr. Glidden discusses the current phenomenon of people having multiple disease conditions when they visit their doctors. In the old days people had one complaint at a time. He urges all listeners to contact Senator Dick Durbin of Illinois and protest his bill. Durbin introduced S 1310 in 2011 (Dietary Supplement Labeling Act), a bill that threatens the dietary supplement industry by granting the FDA more power to regulate supplements as if they were drugs, effectively putting supplement companies out of business.

Bee Sting
1:19:33 – Dixie in Dallas says her daughter was stung on the wrist by a hornet. Her wrist is swollen and red. She has a low grade temperature and has been on Youngevity for 7 months. Dr. Glidden says she should take 2 homeopathic remedies, Apis Mellifica and Ledum, and ice the wrist regularly.
Menstrual Cycle
1:28:32 – Chris in Florida says his fiancee, 22, stopped taking birth control pills 6-8 months ago and hasn’t had a menstrual cycle for 8 months. Dr. Glidden tells Chris to research the brand of birth control, as some have side effects. She should take the supplements and give her body time.
Gluten Free
