August 21, 2013| Dr Glidden | Fire Your MD Now

MDs have to classify everything, even when it doesn’t make sense, like diagnosing a patient with Type 1.5 diabetes. Cindy is overwhelmed by stomach acid and Erica grinds her teeth at night. Baker’s friend has had 3 bypasses and is on 9 medications. Listen to Steve, though, and you’ll realize that at least something is right with the world.

Type 1.5 Diabetes

01:00 – Dr. Glidden talks about the MD’s need to classify everything in order to feel comfortable. Thus, if someone seems to be hovering between Types 1 and 2 diabetes, that person is labeled as having type 1.5 diabetes, though scientifically, it makes no sense.

Dr. Huffnpuff

17:00 – Dr. Huffnpuff tells a patient he has type 1.5 diabetes

Stomach Acid

18:45 – Cindy in Connecticut has too much stomach acid and wants to know how much salt and calcium she should take. Dr. Glidden tells Cindy to salt her food enough so it tastes good and to take 1oz. per 100lbs body weight of liquid calcium per day.

TMJ, Headache, Sjogren’s Syndrome, Colon Hydrotherapy

28:20 – Erika in New Jersey, 32, has been diagnosed with Sjogren’s syndrome and TMJ. She grinds her teeth at night and has severe headaches. She also has digestive, skin and joint issues. Her cholesterol is at 308 and she has eyeritis. She takes 3ozs of liquid calcium per day, plus plant derived minerals. She has been gluten free and on Youngevity products for a year. She feels like she has more energy and is clear-headed. Dr. Glidden recommends more selenium and EFAs, and a colon cleanse twice a year, among other suggestions.

Heart Disease

53:45 – Baker in San Diego is calling about his 72 year-old friend who has had 3 bypasses and is on 9 medications. He has bleeding in his eye and he has arthritis.

Type 1 Diabetes

1:00:45 – Steve in Illinois has a friend who was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in his 30′s. Dr. Glidden says type 1 diabetes usually shows up in childhood.

Testimonial

1:11:01 – Steve talks about the melting away of his psoriasis, tendonitis and arthritis. Dr. Glidden gives Steve a round of applause.

Type 2 Diabetes

1:16:40 – Dr. Glidden finishes the show by saying type 2 diabetes is a mineral deficiency. He recommends taking the Healthy Blood Sugar Pak for 90 days.
